Thanks to Miss Chapman for organising the fantastic activities at this years NAIDOC celebrations. Today we enjoyed having the visiting Millabah dance group teach us dance and language as well try our hand at painting traditional symbols and face paint.
Years 1 and 2 had a fantastic day on our excursion to the Awabakal Centre. Children were historical detectives looking for clues in the present that helped us understand what life was like in the past.
So many fabulous costumes and much fun had at the SRC disco. Thanks to Mrs Elsley for her organisation.
Kindergarten have had an amazing term looking at living things. From animal adaptations to the five senses, we sure have learnt a lot! Now we’re beginning to apply our knowledge in some STEM lessons where we design a nest to allow a living thing (a bird) to survive.
Congratulations to these fantastic students who received awards at the assembly.
Congratulations to all the award recipients.
Year 1 and 2 had an adventure and learnt about the history of our local area. We visited historical sites around Tighes Hill and Throsy Creek.
Congratulations to all the students who participated in the Speak Off.
