Yesterday 2S had a fabulous time completing an experiment to see if an assembly line was quicker or made more products than one person manufacturing the whole product on their own. At the end, students thoroughly enjoyed eating the products they had manufactured – banana chocolate popsicle sticks!
Yesterday we received a special visitor to our morning assembly – Harold the giraffe from Life Education! Harold joined us to launch the Water 4 Life Challenge which involves students drinking nothing but water (with the exception of milk for cereal) for 2 weeks. Students took home their Water 4 Life Challenge starter packs which includes lots of information about the challenge, sponsorship and prizes. If students raise $10 for completing the challenge, then their Life Education excursion fee later this term will be covered! Some of the photos of Harold’s visit are below, including information about the challenge.
